Family Owned and Operated for over 25 years. 

Custom Kitchens was founded in 1997 by husband-and-wife team Susan Janyszek and Ronald Pickrel, both of whom have a Maryland Home Improvement License. Our first showroom located just one block off of 301 was destroyed by the tornado that devastated La Plata in 2002. Rebuilding landed us at our current location directly on 301 in the heart of our beautiful town. 

We take pride in every project we do, and it shows in our client's recommendations and in the loyalty of our builders and contractors who trust us to provide the cabinetry to all of their clients.  We are very proud to be a part of the Southern Maryland community of designers and remodelers.
